R.J.S ART considers the carbon footprint carefully. All products are made in the UK — specifically, the postcards are produced locally in Edinburgh at a print shop within walking distance, thereby reducing transport emissions.
About packging
R.J.S. ART aims to minimise plastic usage in all packaging. Products such as greeting cards and art prints are packaged using recyclable materials, including card patches, to ensure environmentally friendly presentation.
FSC Certification
All greeting cards and A5 art prints are FSC® certified, and the FSC logo is displayed on all greeting cards, demonstrating responsible sourcing from well-managed forests.
Other waste reduction practices
We choose reusable stamps instead of stickers for the R.J.S ART logo on products, helping to reduce waste. Additionally, the choice of enamel mugs reflects waste reduction efforts, as they are more durable than ceramic or glass mugs, promoting long-term use over frequent replacement.
